This workshop will be fully online.

Providing loans to the underbanked population is a great challenge on some Asian markets, especially on those where standard data sources are either fully lacking or are of insufficient quality. During the workshop we will discuss how we handle this challenge by using alternative data and advanced modelling methods.

We will talk about external and internal data, cost benefit analysis we do before integrating data sources, reject inference and the practical difference between blackbox and interpretable models.
